They're used to be one that used to come by the parents house. It stopped a few times, looking in the front window about eleven at night. There was a fox dead on the main road one day and havnt seen the other fox since.

I was driving through Thomastown co. kilkenny last saturday afternoon about 15:00 and my wife said to me, "what kind of dog is that, that the little girl is carrying over there, it looks like a fox"
I had a look and low and behold this kid about 8 years sold was carrying this young fox up in her arms like it was a pet dog.
It was definately a fox so answer me this A:/ Can foxes get so tame as to become a real pet like a family puppy ? and B:/ Does anyone think it was a bit risky letting a young kid carry around what still is a wild animal over her shoulder ? Any thought ???

I've read that foxes cannot be domesticated because they are solitary animals. Dogs apparently see their owners as leaders of their pack.

i dont know how to put links on this etc but there is a video on youtube where a woman has a pet fox and its playing round kitchen and bedroom. . so id say if you got it from a young age it could probably become very domesticated. . .

as reguards the weirdest place to see a fox, think there was a thread on this where someone had a fox terrier chase one round his living room . . ?
