Hi not sure if this is in the right place but anyway, I have social anxiety disorder and i'm thinking about going to the college gp for help. I'm hoping for some sort of medication but i don't know if a college gp can/will prescribe anything or will they just advise me to get therapy? Any advice would be helpful.

The only way to know is to go to your college GP, they're there to help like a normal GP would. They may or may not get records from your GP /suggest you see your own GP or suggest counselling/other. It's something they'd figure out after seeing you I'd say.
Best to go anyway and see how the land lies then.
