As always this information would NEVER be requested by email.
New security measures should always be handled by a browser redirect at login.
After that probobly confirmed via a confirmation email.

I have an email account for junk mail and facebook notifications. It used to be my work email so i have some saved documents that include my C.V and an online banking account details. I have noticed that i am getting 3 strange emails a week to this account. The email is similar to the following:

    DELIVERY STATUS NOTIFICATION (FAILURE):

From postmaster (i wont give the rest of the email address, but it is hotmail)

This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.

Delivery to the following recipients failed.

(it then has a list of all my contacts)

It is also dated and has the time which is usually around 4.00am. The message contains two attachments, which i have left unopened. But the strange thing is there is a web address at the very bottom:
    Soft ron india
I looked up this site and It says ''WARNING VISITING THIS SITE MAY HARM YOUR COMPUTER'' and the tab says ''Malware detected''

I also recieved an email from the 3v site as i have an account

Email is similar to the following:

    Re:

My mum had that happening to her emails that emails like advertising cheap iPhones (obviously bad links) and only that her cousin asked if it was true, she wouldn't have found out. The emails stayed in the sent box for about a day then disappeared.
Ran a few virus scans and nothing came up (thought it was a trojan). She changed her password and we don't think it has happened since. You could have used your email with the same password in a dodgy site or a website that's been attacked.
Run a good few virus scans (now a few high risk ones are coming up on ours) and change your password.

I have a 3V account, and that's what their automated email from customer service looks like. Whatever is in your email probably sent one to them, and their automated one was sent back to you.

I'd contact them by phone if you think someone is trying to get your details via your email account - 0818 27 38 38. Just to be safe.

    Got the same myself yesterday.

Any way to report this to msn?

I mark some of them phishing scams but I don't think much happens.
