    Im from england and have applied to dcu for the undergrad new psychology course.
    1) do people think itll be a popular course, and any idea on the points needed?
    Also my results day for a levels is a few days after the irish leaving cert so will tht go into consideration to will i have to wait for round one?
    Any replies would be appreciated as im tad confused bout it all

    If I remember correctly, I think the Round 1 offers come out a week after the Leaving Certificate results, but I would ring or e-mail the CAO, who would have a better answer I am sure.

    Remember, for Psychology, you have to do between 2 to 5 years postgraduate study to become qualified as a Psychologist. Definitely the upper end of that interval for Clinical Psychology. Competition for Clinical training programmes is quite intense. I would suggest (even during your undergraduate degree) to seek out Clinical Psychologists in the HSE and ask if you can get some work experience on research programmes they may have going.

    On a side note, the UCD or TCD psychology degrees might be better.
