Fill gap between Windows in inner leaf

On my new build, I have a 150mm cavity that I am going to pump. Recently got in my windows, and used expanding foam to fill gap up along left and right, but there is a big gap at the top (2-3 inches). The foam just falls out, any idea what to fill it with before pumping the beads?

Hope I've explained this ok ...

you could use a bit of cavity wall insulation.Cut it to suit and squeeze it between window.

I would cut lengths of 6x1 to match your ope size, and prop these into position.
If the cavity beads are installed correctly, they will 'harden' down to the board position, which you should carefully remove when the beads are cured, then expametal and plaster your reveals.
Be careful with your DPC at head position, keep them back at the window frame
