M203 Grenade Questions

Right so I got my m203 and grenade today.
    Just a few questions:

    1. Should the bb's just fall out if I turn the grenade upside down after loading it? And if they're not supposed to, how do I disassemble it to get at the o-rings?

    2. Should the firing pin be able to move other than up and down? When I push the firing pin with my finger sometimes it gets stuck because its sightly slanted to the left or right. It doesn't fire you see?

    3. Can I use Boss White on the grenade .ie to keep the ball bearings in place?

    4. How do I remove the front barrel mount? I removed a hex screw on the right hand side of the mount but it won't budge!

    Cheers for the help?

1 there should be an oring around the body of thee nade to hold the bb's in place the front half of the nade will have to be unscrewed to get at this on the 18 rnd ones -- on larger ones you'll be able to see it on the outside (you should actually see it if you look into the barrels, looks kinda like a hop).

    2. the pin should only move straight and should not be getting caught to the side - I know some of my king arms grenades have this problem and it means having to dismantle them to reset them. obviously the pin should not be moving when it's gassed ;)

    3. I'd not recommend putting something like Boss white on the bearings as these need to move out of place in order for the nade to function but putting some thick silicone grease on them seems to work well .

    4. I have a ris mounted launcher so can't help with this one. Sorry!

    Hope that helps

yep that'd be it, on different grenades it'll be in a different place, some grenades just have trouble holding the bb's one tip I've been told but not used personally for ones that just won't hold is to tape some cling film over the end .. it'll hold the bbs but they'll puncture it easily when it's fired.

I got a o-ring that fits anyways, cheers Drachnien!
