Choosing FAS WPP

I'm looking to apply for a WPP in Waterford, but something related to the courses i've done - either programming / web development or secretarial position. Just wondering if I sign up with FAS to apply to these places when they come up is it the case that FAS will hound me to apply for all sorts of WPP positions that aren't relevant to my skills? I don't want them to apply on my behalf for anything especially not some stupid irrelevant position that won't gain me any experience.

Does anyone know how it works?

I'm pretty sure there is nothing to worry about. Fas won't sign you up for anything....in fact they are so busy that you'd be lucky to have them even suggest something in your desired field, let alone anything outside.

Last few times I was in with them, they said that they only look for things which are in your desired areas of employment.

I have been signed up several times and they rarely ever came back to me with any jobs or work experience offers.

    Don't worry :-)

By The Way....don't rely on them to find you anything...keep searching their job bank yourself as often as you can.
