Looking for a Car Alarm for an 08 Golf. Living in Dublin Northside. Got quotes from Cartronics in Santry, Scansounds in Phibsboro and Safesounds in Drumcondra and all coming in about €300 mark

    Any others or recommendations advise

    Cheers

Why do you want an alarm in a 08 car it has an immobiliser as standard, I have seen a lot of aftermarket alarms over the years and have never seen one fitted to a good standard by a fitter in this country(I'm sure they're out there but I have yet to see one)

yeah sorry, shoulda mentioned. i think the company might be based from his home, hence the address but he certainkly spends most of his time in Dublin fitting!

ive had him fit 2 bluetooth car kits (nokia) and two alarma over the last 4 years or so.

    1. because having an alarm might just be the difference between a thief moving to the next car along the street.
    2. might reduce insurance premium
i wouldnt be without one tbh
