Phoenix fire festival - Friday the 7th to Sunday the 9th of May 2010

    Hi Folks,

    just some details for the juggling festival in Tullamore in May:


    Friday
    Late night practice Hall open from about 4pm (we can open it earlier that day if people are arriving earlier just post up here if you are)

    The hall is in the phoenix studios (a red bricked abandoned warehouse right in the center of town) Its in a car park that you need to get a ticket for but if you stay parked there till after seven pm you can drive out again for free. Or you can just leave your car there for the whole weekend and drive out at any time on Sunday as its free all day on Sundays. Anyone who leaves there cars there at night does so at there own risk.

    Camper Vans should drive right up to the studios and into our little front area if you plan on staying there over night. If you need toilet and shower facilities then your better off parking at the convention campsite on the castle grounds.

    Nobody can sleep in the Hall over night!!

    The renegade show will be hosted in Loughrey's Bar at the top of the town. We will have some vouchers for boggle juggling shop to hand out to the crowds favorite acts. Fire is allowed in Loughrey's as its a beer garden even though its now newly covered its well ventilated and the owner is up for all sorts so bring it on!!

    Saturday

    Practice Hall open for a Morning slot from 10am to 1pm then after lunch were gonna move things on up to the park for the advanced and pro workshops in the big top. Practice hall will be open again after the public show for the late night jugglers.

    Public show will be held in the big top, exact time is yet to be confirmed Special guest Chloe De Buyl Pisco will be bringing her act from CIRCURSE she will also be giving silk workshops in the big top that day. More acts to be confirmed shortly.

    Fire Show
    This is gonna be a very special one guys. It may have to go on over the whole weekend as theres so much to fit in of it. We will feature acts from Fire Poise, Powder Monkeys, Red Embers and StageCraft Ireland.

    Sunday

    The studios will be closed on Sunday and all events will be taking place in the park and big top.

    Games will be run by Fay and sponsored by boggle

    Registration is €25
    Camping is €10

    The Campsite is on the fantastic castle grounds and has toilet and shower facilities but you must come to the hall first to register and get your camping pass.

    Apartments in town are also available to rent from Loughrey's Bar
