Hi! Have you looked at Abril Escuela. It's based in Alcalá de Henares, which is a small town just outside of Madrid. It's a half an hour train ride away from Madrid. Personally I haven't done it, but people from my old secondary school have and they really liked it, and benefited from it. 3 weeks to a month is the ideal bare minimum time to do a course like this and to get a great benefit from it. You stay with a host family, attend classes and the school organises activities. I've pasted a link to the website.

Personally I think Madrid is an ideal place to learn Spanish. I know EF languages do courses in both Barcelona and Málaga, which is good but the accents might put your daughter off. I'm doing a Spanish degree, and dealing with these accents, for me, can be problematic at times. The Madrid accent is very clear. For learning Spanish i'd say it would be a good way to go.

    Best of luck!:)

The course I mentioned above accepts adults as well. It isn't only for teenagers. I also know EF language school on Baggot Street, Dublin organises Spanish courses abroad for students as well, in Barcelona and Málaga. EF actually organise specialised courses for LC students and for adults.
