Chipped ceramic hob repair

    Anyone know if is possible to repair a small chip on a ceramic hob?

    A glass fell on it and chipped a small piece off the edge (about a square centimetre).

    You can claim for a new hob top on most house insurance policies.Its a very expensive part. you could try gluing it but i doubt it will work

    maybe you could sand down the area ?

    no - idea if that will make things better or worse, someone else may know
