Both of those have very good reps too so no worries on buying from them.

Is there much of a difference in price between the new and second hand ones? Or am I just better off going for a new one?

up until a few months ago buying a s/h dc66 would cost almost as much i.e 95-97% as the price of a new one,

recently s/h values have taken a little bit of a drop, for instance there is one on the sales corner on tz-uk right now for £1,250, he is looking for a quick sale and that is pretty cheap, but i reckon normally £1,350 would get one nowadays.

also there is a new version, the dc66i coming shortly:

which may lead to greater availability of s/h dc66.

the sales corner on tz-uk or a want to buy post is your best bet, you need 50 posts to access the sales corner so i would join up and get contributing!

might as well get a s/h one, they are so tough most s/h ones look like new!
