Cheapest Petrol Station's..!

I always used to get my petrol from the garage on the quays ever since they slashed the prices of petrol, and at 126.9 per litre of unleaded its not as great as it was, with all the petrol price hikes and taxation increases, but I was maintaining my custom with them as a 2ltr milk was only 99c.
    ( I love the white stuff ;) )

Anyway, I was heading out the N3 earlier and see that the new motorway by pass is part opened, by passing the petrol station at the " sheaf of wheat ". Coming around one of the mini round abouts I noticed a sign for petrol 122cent per litre, so drove up the original road to find the N3 petrol station deserted!!

This is no under statement, It was dead, no one around, and of course that price of 122cent per litre was wrong! A devious ploy to get you to come off the main road, and into their empty hands... How wrong was the price? Two cents wrong... The price on the pump was a easy and cool 120cent per litre. A bargain to any petrol car Mini or Mercedes!:)

thats garage is most likely going to go bust.

They got 2 days notice that they were being bypassed 8 weeks ahead of schedule.

Over half the staff let go pretty much immediately. They are now below cost selling in the hope of getting people to leave the motorway, its not sustainable.

    Sad really.

They used to sell ice cream from the machine in there years ago, maybe they should bring that back, summer coming and all....

A Free 99 with every fill up, wudnt be a bad idea!

As for 2 days notice, that motorway is 29 years coming, and finally they have opened one lane!

I assumed it was already closed! How do you get down to it these days, I drive by it every morning but on the N/M 3 side?
