Bath tap spacing?

What is the standard spacing between bath taps? I measured mine and the distance from centre to centre is 18cm.

I'm looking to get a push on shower with riser rail, and all the decent ones I've found have had had a fixed tap spacing of 20cm. I realise there are cheaper ones with flexible fittings, but none of them seem to come with a rail.

Is the spacing between my bath taps non-standard?

180cm is the spacing as far as I am aware this is the industry standard. However have you considered blanking off your bath and going with a wall mounted bath shower mixer.

    Thanks for your reply.

Bizarre that all of the push-on showers I've seen are for 20cm spacing, if 18cm is the standard.

Ideally I would like a proper fitted shower, but times being what they are I was looking for something on the cheap side (but decent).

I dont know what you mean by push on showers. However you asked the tap spacing and this is it 180cm. In otherwords a plumber worth his salt will make sure if s.he drills a new bath s.he will drill them at the required centres for fitting of a bsm.bath filler later.

I dont know what you mean by push on showers.

It's just a shower fitting that pushes on over the existing taps.

    Something like this:
