How do you help someone who keeps going back only to be burned again?

She falls for the sweet talk each and every time and when it breaks down she has been talked into believing that it is her own fault. He is seeing someone else and he's not going to change that. How can you persuade this woman to see what's happening and what she needs to do? It's driving her crazy but she hasn't got the self-belief to know she deserves and can have better.

    It's driving me crazy too!

The only thing you can do in them situations is be a friend and support them eventually when she realises for herself its going no where she will leave him.If you dont want to listen anymore just dont ask or change subject. If she isnt crying on your shoulder then leave her to it.She will eventually cop on.You do yourself no favours in getting involved because you will be not thanked for it.Just remind her its not her fault and i am sure deep down she knows its not.Friend is all she needs not judgment and not anyone hitting on how she feels and telling her she is wrong. No one who loves someone wants anyone to tell them that. She will come out of it her self.Every one does what they want in long run.
No one appreciates others trying to tell them what they should be doing or how they should feel or act.

    +1 to this advice.

Its really annoying to listen to someone moan and moan about someone whos horrible to them, and finally get away from them only to watch them to go back for it all over again. And theres only so many times you can say I told you so :D

Your only job is to listen (if you can take it) and just be there when it all falls apart and they finally come to their senses. And if they stay with this person, well thats their choice and theres no point telling them any different.

you can't. some lessons are better learned the hard way.
