    Hey guys,

Wondering if a few of you could possibly help me out. Basically I made these two tracks about 3 years ago now. Personally I never really thought they were any good but the thing is that they are a favourite of all my mates. They are all hassling me to send these tracks out as a demo. But to do that i will have to go up into my attic and get my old pc hook it up, then mix the tracks again, as I didnt have a keen ear back then. So just wondering if you reckon its worth all that effort, cause i reckon my mates only like these tracks cause I made them and they are just being nice.

At the moment they only exist as 128kpbs mp3s on my laptop, heres the link to them here:

Its a long way from what im making at the moment bear in mind.

    Any comments/feedback would be great!

I actually like 'em both. Good work. 'Attention Whore' is a really nice track, and whilst I don't think I'd play 'Disappear', it's got a nice bit of funk to it. I found the vocals in both a tad repetitive though.

Cheers for taking the time to listen and comment! Anyone else?

hey man i grabbed a listen to em both today.
to be honest there not your best work by a long shot.

the pick of the bunch is disappear.

is it worth mixing them down again?Im not sure to be honest.

like you said your miles away from this genre(boo,i really liked your minimal tech stuff.moisture bud is still on the ipod) so im not sure if youd benefit from doing this.

we all have tracks that we made in the begining of our production experience where the ideas were good but the execution wasnt but i reckon that new ideas will come and not to dwell on the past tracks.

Unless of course you having a creative dryspell and it might help you to refine your earlier ideas

Really like the first track a lot......have listened to it three times today & i think it is definetly worth revisiting to be reworked.......the second one is cool enough so if yer going to go to the trouble for the first one sure you may as well have a crack at them both.
