importing aegs?

Im unsure as to what classes as an RIF , are you still able to buy airsoft guns off forgien sites??or does the gun have to have an orange tip or be two tone?? i had alook around but cant seem to find anything explaining what exactlly your allowed to import and what exactly your not?? any help is much appreiciated ,,:D:D:D

Currently there is no retriction on buying aegs or gbb from outside ireland as long as there under 1 joule or 328fps ,
there is no rule on the blaze orange flashhider applies to the US only

if the aeg or gbb is over 1 joule when coming into the country it can be siezed and destroyed by customs

bear in mind that most aegs onsale outside ireland are over the 1 joule limit you are risking your money for something you may never recieve
