not sure this is the right forum but i do consider this a personal problem.

start seeing a man, we have spent a few nights together the day after we are both like zoombies cause he cant sleep cause of my snoring and i dont sleep cause im trying so hard to stay awake so i wont snoring

this is highly embarressing for me and we now now talking about just seeing each other and then going home the same night. i dont want this cause i like spending the whole night with him, not sure i want to wear one of them nose strip thing, like i said iv just started seeing him.. dont want to be turning him on to much with the sight of me wearing one of those :P

any other suggestions? has anyone found anything that actually works?

where you drinking the nights in question? i find that i used to always snore when drunk!

also, if you are overweight that could very well be a reaason.

I found that even when i was a few pounds heavier ( barely oveweight) that i snored a hell of a lot more.

maybe better overall health would help

    good luck anyway

Hey OP you should see your doctor and ask his advice. There is so many methods and perhaps you have sinus problems?

Being in a similar position myself as someone who snores loudly, to the point of it ending up with either my girlfriend or myself in the spare room every night, all I'll say is that earplugs are your best friend. She found the ones you buy in the chemist quite uncomfortable, so now we buy better fitting ones on eBay and we haven't looked back since.
