    Why don't you hang on to them & try & get a few hatches out of em?
    Leavin em off now might not reap the rewards you'd hope by time season comes along...

    Couple of local lads up here raise them. I don't know anywhere near Cork that raises them GT. Maybe someone else could help. They are usually ten weeks old when released.

    They are not the easiest. Anytime we tried them we were less than successful, IMO they do not do well in the wet. They travel for miles when released. Best to keep a few back in an enclosed pen as calling birds.
