Webcast of Weddings

    Hi All
I am currently working on a project and the main focus would be to provide webcasts of weddings to people how were unable to attend your wedding. I believe this would be a useful tool in the current climate for people who can't afford to travel or unable to for health reasons etc.

Before I go too far into this project I was hoping to get some feedback from brides if this would be something that would be of interest? The company would provide the equipment, someone on hand at both locations to make sure the link is successful.

We haven't established a fee yet, its very early stages. I'd really appreciate your feedback on this.

    Many thanks
    Mary :D

Horses for courses as they say but personally I couldn't think of anything worse other than perhaps a wedding dvd. If I were interested in doing a webcast then I think I'd probably just do it myself. Why bother paying a company to do something you could probably do yourself?

honestly can't really see a market, as I don't know if there is anyone out there who would want to watch a webcast of a wedding (the obligatory DVD is bad enough! ;)) so "no" from me.

    Hiya

I voted no as the hotel are doing this for us as part of their package if we need them to.

But if they weren't I still wouldn't pay for it - there's way too much other things to pay for as well!

Seems like an unnecessary expense. I'll be sending the photos to grandparents etc that can't make it, and as for the other guests that can't be there, it's generally because they have something else on at the time or don't really want to be there, so either way they wouldn't be watching a webcast.
