    Im on chorus and i have heard about newsgroups but i dont understand what they are and what you can do. Are they free and can i use them on chorus.

    I belive ntl used to have a news server, but its txt only, no binary files. I pay a few euro each month for a high speed encrypted news server.

    Steep learning curve, but once you get into it theres no looking back.
