Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How to reset BMW/MINI/VW/Toyota electric windows - may work on other cars too

Little trick the workshops charge, and charge well for. If your windows don't go quite the way up/down, or if you have pillarless doors and they don't drop when opening, you need to reset the datums of the motor. It's really easy to do it.

First identify the problem window. With the engine running, press and hold the down button for the window. Even when it gets to the bottom, keep holding it for 10 seconds. Then pull the switch to push hit back up, but keep holding it again after it's gone up fully for another 10 seconds. Hey presto, windows reset.

The above works for most VWs too.
