Commercial to Minibus

Hello, if I bring in a VW panel van ( T4 ), I presume that I will only need to pay 50 euro vrt. If then, after registration, I decide to convert it to an 8 seat minibus, will I have to pay anything extra? If so, is there a time limit after which I wont have to pay anything extra? Many thanks DOK
