    Just found this graphical abstract in the latest issue of The Journal of Organic Chemistry. Link to the article abstract. It features on the cover too. About the cover.

    I guess if you want to get your article on the front cover of J.Org.Chem. you have to have an interesting picture!

    Also, why don't more papers have fun, even artistic, pictures in them? Often it's a pretty boring reaction scheme or graph with a little colour (For example). Apart from the chance to get your picture on the front of the journal, I'd say more people would be inclined to at least read the article (if not reference it in future!). Are scientists not at all creative? :eek:
