I dont think your the first one to have that idea. THere was is a dundalk band doing the same thing.... (who also advertised themselves as Irelands first acapella metal band) There was a bit of hype surrounding them when they started out but I havent heard anything bout them since.

    Hi there symphoney,
i would love to join your "epic" thing,
only problem is i am a world renownd tenor and you are a nobody, maybe if you showed us some samples of YOUR voice, just to see what im up against.
Also do you know how expensive good equipment is??
And are you going to be the only female in the band? Because i know girls can hit higher notes then us men.

I'd be interested in doing this. I'm well capable of writing songs on guitar, but I dont think I'd be able to write A Capella metal tracks. (But maybe I could after some experience in doing so) so I think I'd be more comfortable doing covers...
I've not been in an A Capella band before, but I'm fairly confident I could be of some use.

Well seeing as your a "world renownd tenor" equipment shouldnt be a problem! And anyway I doubt a "world renownd tenor" would have a user name "red_hot_nirvana" so I think you might be a bit of a fibber and because of this, and a few googles searches later I found this

Now I know what a "world renownd tenor" sounds like... Infact it sounds something like this...

    or a more modern example,

So thank you but no thanks. Your voice is not good enough...
Anyway Ive decided I wont find anyone searious enough on this website....
So I guess I should look elsewhere!

Nice find Dravokivich, I thought I recognised the SymphonyX username from somewhere.

Hopefully this thread will do better than either of those two.

Can you PM me with a few samples of what you've done already, as well as a short list of songs your thinking of doing.
