    im looking for a new set of disc brakes can anybody recomend some??????+whats a good helmate for mountai bikeing

    What type of MTB do you do?

    The new shimano deore are very good, they re-arranged the master cylinder this year and it seems to have improved it.

    But Ive been very very impressed by avid Elixer.

    Personally I use Shimano and find them very good, durable and extremely easy to service(unlike other Hydraulic discs)

    The type of MTB will dictate your choice to be honest.
