I am going to the US next week. How many hours would people recommend I check in before the flight? I remember the last time I went (a few years ago), I was told by the travel agents to be there four hours before hand.

4 seems like a lot to me.

    3 would probably be enough.

It depends on the airport. I would say 2 for Dublin airport. If you want more time to stroll around duty free give yourself more time. And if you are flying AL the gate isnt halfway around the world so you dont need to much time to get to it.
