    Hi
I am a final year visual art student and i am working on a project that needs some scientific input. I am performing an activity (e.g. pumping up a balloon with a foot pump) the experiment lasts 3 mins. During this time the balloon is pumped up at a slow enough rate, there are two possible results. One the balloon doesn't burst within the 3 mins, or it does burst. At the moment i am working on drawings to accompany the perfomance and i think they need a scientific input. I have read a bit about Newtons Law, work and energy but i would like to know more. I would like to understand on a scientific level exactly what is happening with the energy flow during this action and how would a scientist draw this, or what symbols etc could you use.If anyone is interested in working with me please let me know .............
    Thanks!
