According to their website, www.cmit.ie..."Established in 2004, College of Management and IT (CMIT) is the leading provider of certified / accredited elearning and distance learning education in Ireland."

    www.cmit.ie

Has anyone done any of the courses there? Did they find them any good? I am interested in doing the Supervisory one and Certified Trainer. What do people think of them?

    Thanks.

oh... for the Train the Trainer course you get a "FETAC Level 6 Training the Trainer Certificate (ref. E31079)"...is this a good training award to get?

i wanted to do some courses with them, unfortunately most awards are UK ones except the fetac obviously. I would say instead of CMIT go for part-time college course...

I have few distance learning courses behind me done, and my employer wasnt even looking at them, had no interest.. So they are not as worthy as proper in-class training...

I don't think it is fair to say that all online courses are not as worthy as traditional courses, it is probably more correct to ask who is the course accredited by, and at what level.

Have a look at the National Framework of Qualifications here to get an idea where a qualification sits on the overall national scale.

I do agree with you. As i said i did few of distance courses myself. Unfortunately as far as i see employers are skeptical towards online/distance courses and wanted to talk only about the ones i did in-class.
