I've just recently got myself a copy of traktor, and from playing around with my mouse, i love it....4 deck mixing is the way forward....

I've been looking around for tsi files to get my xponent working with traktor pro...but none of them seem to cut the mustard....anyone have any help on this situation?

Zascar struggled with mapping Traktor for an Xponent for ages, until finally giving up and buying a VCI-100.

Why don't you map it yourself? You learn a lot, and get it just the way you want.

the mapping process is easy. you could map it in an hour or so

this video shows you the basics of mapping things like upfaders and eq's (its on a xone 1d but the principle remains) and **** and the rest is easy trust me

i had no experience doing it and flew through it with my 1d

I've been looking in to a new controller for some time, as i dont like the size of the xponent, and the fact it's not bus powered!

and im actually thinking about the numark omni control!

hmmmm, i'll see how much i can get for the xponent first tho!

With the VCI-100 as one of the only suggestions, every time I'd say that a mixer & an additional controller is infinitely better than these all-in-one controller. Kontrol X1, Xone:1D, UC33e etc with a mixer and a souncard is IMHO the best bet.

Click load on the Settings panel of Traktor, select this tsi and Bob's your uncle

Tricked, thanks very much, already had otto's map, and it works a treat, I missed some settings the first time round!

It's running a treat now, 4 decks are epic!!!!

Could I hook up an m audio x session pro along with the xponent through midi in/out and use that to control the other two decks??

I believe the latest OTTO mapping is very good but it was far from perfect when I tried it. I'm happy with the VCI I have now but I still think the Xponent is a really nice unit to use. There were however issues with quality when playing live, its definitely better with the Audio 2 DJ and the VCI - played out last night and it was perfect.

I got the VCI-100SE from www.djtechtools.com and they have just put out a new mapping which is very cool.

Here are some videos showing some of the advanced features:

Obviosuly most you'll probably never use but some are great...

I've played out a number of times with the xponent, and to be honest the sound quality was perfect, I was running through a djm800 a few times, and an a&h 92 another few times!

But there was no noticeable drop in audio quality!

I'm very happy with traktor on the xponent now, I'm gonna do some more looking in to the x session pro connectivity and see if there will be any latency problems, an if not, I'll just pick one of them up!

Actually.....would an a&h xone 1d be suitable to use along with the xponent?
