We are flying a group of 40 out on a mystery tour. 1 of the people doesn't have a passport. She needs proof of travel to get the quick one (as we are flying next friday). Do you think it is an issue if we blurred out the destination (as it is meant to be a secret)? Or if we change it to somewhere else? Also, does the passport office require the email confirmation and that is it?

I don't know the answer to your original question. But just as a suggestion, you should be able to get a Ryanair flight to any other destination for the same day at around €10. Just use that as proof of travel.
