    hey guys

just freshly installed snow leopard on my april 2007 macbook that i bought in Boston, brand new.

I had no problem with tiger os x, which was the first OS that was installed on it, i upgraded because of some compatibility issues that were addressed in Snow.

But recently, I have been getting a lot of spinning beachballs, as well as a laptop, that does not shut down for example.

is there anyone else out there expereiencing something similiar?

or maybe there is something i can do to resolve this issue

    thanks very much

    ed

Have you tried to repair the Disk Permissions in Disk Utility since updating to Snow Leopard? Have you checked to see if there are any firmware updates?

eurotrotter: I suggest you follow SP's link and re-instate your original account, otherwise you run the risk of getting site banned for having multiple accounts.

sorry for raising the alarm bells,
