Poker Classic Fundraiser : Texas Hold'em V 5Card Draw

    Not so familar with Poker, our GAA club are organising a Poker Classic Fundraiser. Big debate going on of Texas Hold 'em versus 5 Card Draw....

    Anyone suggest the merits / demerits of each for a fundraiser night. Plan was to charge €50 per ticket with €20 top ups....

    A couple of us who wouldn't know much about the game are finding that people will say yes to buy a ticket but then pull out when they hear its 5 Card Draw !!!

    Opinions welcome....

    Take their money and go with the minority .It's far more profitable

    I think that the TH Game would be a far bigger draw...excuse the pun! A lot of the newer players would know nothing about draw poker
