Arnotts project sale?

Just to let you girlies know if you don't already that there's 70% off stuff in Arnotts in Jervis Street, not loads left (max factor and isa dora totally wiped out) but a lot of Rimmel as well as household stuff, some bags and there's stationary and cards on sale as well, they're shutting down so does anyone think that more may go on sale soon?:)

My friend works there (getting transferred to the other Arnotts) and it's closing this Sunday. Dispute over rent. New Look and TK Maxx opening there!

all paperchase cards, gift wrap and gift boxes were 50cent and lots of clothes 70% off
and some house wear added to it all too

Oooh, totally going in today too, thanks for the tip! I also think it's a shame they're closing, I've been too broke until now to be able to have a proper spree in there, but was really hoping to do so at some stage soon!

Ah I'm off college so haven't seen her in a while..They're doing their best to accommodate all concessions in the old Arnotts. I'd say there's enough room- a lot of the old Arnotts is dead looking. Lot of people losing their jobs though- not all make up brands are moving for one- Make Up Store isn't. But if they're moving most stuff, can't see why they'd have to flog it all off? Like almost all of Lipsy and Maisy is full price...maybe they're just getting rid of Glamorous and Laundry and not moving them. Didn't see if Desigual had a sale as it's not my cup of tea, it's fairly popular though, can't see them getting rid of it altogether, not certain!

New Look is getting the basement and ground floor and TK Maxx is getting the other two. Nice competition for Penneys and REALLY excited about New Look, bout time they opened in town.

Yeah it was a bit depressing in there this avo, kinda post-apocalyptic and the sales staff seemed to be in meltdown, but I did get a few good deals on some home furnishing stuff and jewellery. No clothes though. Oh well.
