Think the ban on importing AEG'S was brought into place on January 1st

No it wasn't. You can still import AEGs and RIFs under the 1J limit. I still am.

When the ban comes in you will all know about it here from the IAA.

Know one knows exactly when its coming in, the details are still being tied down. It won't happen over night we will get notice. So if you have placed an order when it is announced you will still get it most likely before the ban is enforced.

The Import Ban is not in place yet ,
your free to purchase aegs from overseas as long as there under 1 joule ,

though the ban isnt in place yet customs can and will stop and test airsoft devices coming into the country at any time ,
