Pistol clubs

    Folks, I'm looking for recommendations for a Pistol Club in the general midlands area. I've been in touch with Tullamore but the year starts in June which is not ideal. Does anyone have contact info for the range outside Athy (Lougharbor?)? Is this also a club or just a range?

    You could try some of the clubs listed on the links pages on the NASRPC website: http://www.nasrpc.ie/Links.htm

    Or contact the lads on the NASRPC committee via the email on their website, I'm sure they'll be able to point you in the best direction.

    No doubt there'll be others along here promptly with some more ideas for you, but hope that's a start.

    More information needed.

    1. What sort of pistol shooting? Centre fire, rim fire, air pistol?
    2. What disciplines?
    2. Why is the start of the year in June not ideal?

    Sort of shooting: just .22LR
    Disciplines: I'm not fussy here, just getting started for the second time
    Year Starting in June: I've bought the pistol and need to get the membership sorted asap in order to get the licence sorted out, if I sign up now I pay for 12 months and only get a month or 2 use of it, given that it'll be at least the end of April before the licence is issued.
