If its of interest to anyone the events free and on at the Grand, Malahide. (On the Dart Line). We had a great turn out at our last event Guerrilla Markeiting Overview with Cityjets MD.

Fabio Grassi, Certified EQ trainer, will present an introduction to the topic of Emotional Intelligence on Tuesday 9th March at 8pm in the Grand Hotel, Malahide. The session will help participants to understand, assess and enhance their emotional intelligence. This event, which is organised by JCI Fingal is open to all and free of charge.

    What is Emotional Intelligence?

Emotional intelligence is defined as the ability to use both emotional and cognitive thought. Emotional intelligence skills include empathy, intuition, creativity, flexibility, resilience, stress management, leadership, integrity, authenticity and intrapersonal.

    Why is emotional intelligence important?

Many people assume that success in life is related to one's IQ. However it is possible for a person with average IQ to be more successful than an IQ genius if the person in question has a higher level of emotional intelligence (EQ). IQ will get you through school and college but emotional intelligence is what gets you through life. Anyone who wants to make strides in their careers and their lives will benefit from this session.

Fabio Grassi has over twelve years’ experience in Personnel Development. He is an INLPTA Certified Master Practitioner Coach, IMI Master Trainer and EQ Certified Trainer. Fabio focuses on helping executives and managers to develop their teams’ performance, collaboration and motivation, by facilitating tailored workshops aimed at the achievement of specific business outcomes and by providing individual coaching to executives and managers. At IMI Fabio directs and delivers the ‘Core Skills of Management’ programme as well as other programmes on personal and team development.

    What is JCI all about?
