Just wondering what kind of insurance quote I would expect after having a drink driving conviction. The conviction is nearly 5 years old, but I haven't needed a car til now.

Anyone have any idea? Also, I am over 25 if it would make any difference.

Might make more sense to ask an insurance company for a quote rather than asking us?;)

I was asking if anyone here is in the same situation and is insured!

Everyone is different from the area you live in to age to car type to car value to past history, only insurance companies can answer your question

Lots of people get insured after DD convictions. As always, though, you'll have to shop around for the best quote - and none of us can have any idea of what that quote will be.
