I acknowledge your receipt of your application of disability allowance which was received recently.

Your claim is being dealt with by a deciding officer and before he/she can make a decision on your claim they must check that you satisfy the means test and medical conditions for award of disability allowance

you will be advised in writing of the decision on your claim asap.

Question, do I have to do anything further or just wait?

Will have to be interviewed by a social welfare inspector and checked out by the scheme's doctor.

Usually the inspector is from your local dole office and will either call out to you (or write out asking you to call into the office for an interview). You'll have to travel to visit the department to get assessed by the scheme's doctor.
