Scrolling Image banner. Javascript?

Hey guys.

I'm working on a site and was considering trying to make a sort of scrolling featured gallery, with maybe 4 or 5 elements.

Somthing like this:
http://psdtuts.s3.cdn.plus.org/410_Web_Layout/final_small.jpg
(the green top section)

I was hoping to do it without using Flash.

Does anyone know is this possible with Javascript or some sort of quickfix plug-in?

Perhaps someone knows where I can find a tutorial on how best to achieve this.

You could do this using a JQuery carousel:

Not sure if it can be made look like the example you had but it might do the trick.
