Toyota / Starlet Clubs?

Hi guys,

Chap I know is restoring a 20 year old Starlet and is looking for a suitable club to join. He's located in Dublin North.

Any advice for him?

Don't know of any 'classic' type clubs, but I know a few of the members of TDC Ireland race 80's starlets in Autotest/Autocross events. Might be good to make contact on the parts/technical end of things.

There is a lot of people on this site who have Starlets/or restored Starlets. Would be your best spot anyway.

Autocross would be a few steps ahead of what he's looking for at the moment and the Twin Cam scene wouldn't really be his thing either. It's just a regular old Starlet, not a Glanza.

He's just looking for a regular classic club to cruise with of a Sunday - any other clubs he could look at?

there is also the toyotaenthusiastsclub at least one nice starlet in the irish part of the club & i know the twincam scene isnt his baby but on that ae86 site there are a lot of kp owners so they even have their own kp section
