This kit does come with a receiver

I know! I have receivers coming out of my ears!!! I am just looking to move from a static dish(s) setup to a motor and thought this looked good. Just really wondering what value there is out there.

    Cheaper than wizard!

Not bad. £1 cheaper! But, the LNB is better from wizard and the dish is slightly larger plus the motor is a little better from wizard, if reviews are to be believed.

After some fishing around I went ahead and ordered the one from Wizard.

£18 pounds. Which isn't too bad. I know it's slightly deaer than the SatelliteTV.co.uk site but there is a trade off for slight better spec'd kit.

I'd prefer that than double the amount to an Irish trader in pure unadulterated profit.

Didn't you post a link to a UK site? Or is that an Irish site registered in the UK?

I wouldnt use the bracket that you receive from Wizard unless you want serious problems down the line.
Those L brackets are completely unsuitable for a motorised dish especially a 1.1m one.
Get yourself a decent set of T K brackets .
Everything else in the kit is good quality.

I am actually thinking of cementing a pole into the ground about 200ft up the garden (not in the air, 200ft away from the house!!) so the wall bracket shouldn't be needed-I think! However, I need to figure our if 200ft is a little too much for loss etc.

How are you going to maintain good signal over 200ft.

Also I have the 1.1m triax and one thing i dont like is the dish isnt easy move up and down when setting up, due to the design. Especially if you are on a ladder.

It probably helps on reception though as the bracket design seems over engineered than the normal fixed bolt hinged brackets.

I dont think you get a L bracket, shows a picture of an L bracket, but ive always got a sturdy tripod type bracket.

+1 on the suggestion of a good T & K bracket if considering wall mount.

Wind loading, even on a "light" dish such at a Triax 110 can be extremely high. L bracket won't last long in Ireland.

Overall though, the wizard kit is pretty good value
