    Hi

    I am a Manufacturing Engineer with 3yrs experience in Automotive Electronics (they closed down) and 1 year in Med Device, i had a contract role in the med device company and now i'm unemployed since christmas.

    Anyway I like the look of doing Computer Aided Eng Product Design Postgrad in UL. Basically id like to go from the process/manufacturing eng side of things to the design and NPI stuff.

    Now I know there are '000's out of work in this field but as i said im unemployed and would like to upskill whilst i'm in this situation.
    So looking towards the future will this be a growth area?
    Feel free to throw out other upskill suggestions for me, cheers
