Had a final round interview yesterday and had to go so I missed my sign on date. Because of the work to rule they're not answering the phones. I went down today but they were closed and are closed all afternoon! Will go down first thing in the morning but I'm wondering what generally happens if you miss your sign on day? It was for an interview and the company can confirm that if necessary.

If you miss your signing on day you wont get paid for the days until you sign on again. Happened me a couple of weeks ago.

Don't know what the story with today is though.

If your sign on day was this week then you should go to your normal hatch tomorrow - your claim will be suspended and they can lift this suspension as soon as you attend.

If you provide evidence of Job Interview you will be sound.

They docked a weeks dole! It's not me it's my boyfriend. He went in this morning and was told he wouldn't get any dole next week.

if he has proof he was attending an interview they should repay him for the week they've docked.
