Unlock 3GS-UK Sim

    I currently have an iPhone 3GS on O2 network, if I jailbreak and unlock will it take a UK sim?

    It's a little more compex than that , the op may be able to do so but then again they may not If they updated to 3.1.3 which also updates there baseband which is not unlockable at the moment

    the question was if they unlocked it, would their uk sim work? and yes it would, i'm well aware of what obstacles might be in the way, through the unlock process but that wasn't the question
    now if op comes back and says im on 3.1.3, we'll have a different response,
    op if you can post your version and modem fw we can tell you exactly if you can unlock or not

    I was more thinking how they would jailbreak and unlock end of things , sorry about that :)
