    Hello,

When I started getting my JSB into my bank account, Social Welfare began sending me a reminder once a month of my next signing day in the post, about a week before.

My last signing day was February 10th and the girl told me it was my last at that hatch and I was to wait and here about my means test and I only had three weeks of JSB left.

This morning, I got a another "reminder" in the post to sign on on Wednesday next week. Do I disregard that? It is for JSB and I no longer get that.

    Cheers.

Send them a letter and ask if your JSA signing day is the same.

You have to sign on for JSA as well - it just might be on a different day.

I haven't been called for a means test yet. Would I still have to sign on?

Some offices have you sign while waiting on payment - its a control thing. Theres no harm in going in to sign if you have received the reminder, if you are due to sign and don't turn up your claim could be closed.

Hi InisMor, firstly i would adhere carefully to any requests to sign on, just to be sure. I was wondering how you managed to get your payments into your bank account. I understood this practice stopped quite a while ago. I ask because this question has been raised throughout boards.ie

Secondly, like yourself my JSB will run out shortly and I'm a little anxious about it. I understand, you are notified although i have the original approval letter so i know the exact dates. My question is, when your JSB ended to you experience a gap with payments as i also understand a means test is required and it takes quite a while for this to happen. I would appreciate an insight in to your experience during the transition from JSB TO JSA.

    Thanks in advance

Is maith an scáthán súil charad.
