Silly Stock Question...

    Hi Guys,

I'm sure this is gonna sound silly but when you're making soup do you add hot stock or do you add cold water and then a stock cube and bring it to the boil?

Sometimes I make up the stock with boiling water and add it like that into my veg that I've been frying but I feel like throwing boiling water on them is damaging the nutrional value of the veg??

Is it best to add cold water and crumble a stock cube in?

    Thanks:)

You're already frying the veg at a higher temperature than the boiling water.
    Don't worry about it!
