Buying Windows 7

Hi All

If I buy a Windows 7 CD, how many computers can I load it onto? One or more?

Currently have an old Dell Dimension 3000 running XP. Could this run the Windows 7 64bit version OS? I'm going to upgrade to 2Gb of RAM.

Where's the best place to purchase it? Online from Microsoft, PC world, etc...

Which Edition would you recommend? Home Premium, Professional or Ultimate?

There is a family pack available. It's a version of windows 7 home premium upgrade and it has three licenses.
