I have Rock Shox Reba on my bike, had it upside down (on saddle and handlebars) in the back of the car for a few days, noticed today that there is a bit of oil seaping out of the top of the fork on the pop lock side.
Any ideas as to what it is ?
    wheres it coming from?
    what should i do?

Also can anyone recomend some good trails in north wexford/south wicklow??

I did Ballinastoe laste week, its quite good, but badly signposted for first timers.....I got lost :o had to double back over fire road to find my bearings.
    I thought Ballyhoura is awesome.

sounds like your seals (ahrouw arouw) have gone in the suspension forks you have which are filled with oil to cushion the suspension action of the forks, bring it in to a good bikeshop to replace the seals and oil, if thats the issue. Not a DIY job really for most.

If they're the first generation Reebas (2007-2008 forks) then IIRC there is a problem with O-rings or the poploc/motioncontrol units leaking/failing - so could be as small as fitting an O-ring but outside chance of something a bit more 'interesting' - you could be lucky and have SRAM cover it on warranty or do a decent price on parts

have a reba fork myself and watching it like a hawk..

I had exactly the same problem with my Rebas - it seems that if you make sure that the little "button" in the middle of the blue cap on the top of the fork is pressed down firmly, then the oil will not leak out. Just check before turning upside down. If necessary, it's easy enough top up the fork oil if you've lost much.
I shouldn't worry about it too much.

Id send them off to TF tuning, but if they are a year old get in touch with fisher outdoor, they supply RockShox and do all the warranty work on them.

Do you clean your bike after every ride? Because its dirt on the legs that causes the seals to wear this fast. If its dirt, then dont even chance sending them off, it will be obvious when they are opened up and you will have to pay.

Choose the weight of the oil carefully, too thick and the fork will feel crap, same with if its too thin, it will be really bouncy as the oil wont damped the springing motion of the fork.

If they are charging 100+ Id sell em cheap and get a pair of old Marzocchi forks from Italy, I personally think Rockshox are not made very well.
