Speculation, in relation to the rotation..

    On RTE just now.

    A green senator said this in answer to a comment made by an independent about the possible 'rotating portfolios'.

    These people quite literally have sponges for brains with Brian Cowen being the worst offender.

    There's already a thread discussing the supposed rotation agreement. Saying that X has a sponge for a brain isn't significant enough for a new thread, regardless of whether it was said by a boards.ie member or an senator unnamed.

    And no human being "quite literally" has a sponge for a brain. The word, with all due respect, is and always will be "figuratively".

    Feel free to contribute to the existing thread.
